The hotel provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay: cozy rooms, hot water, friendly staff, a swimming pool, and internet access.

- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer to Marangu Gate (1860m)
- Ascend to Mandara Camp (2700m)
- Settle into huts, lunch, and rest
- Dinner and overnight stay at the camp
This will be your first day at altitude, so it’s strongly recommended to avoid caffeine and alcohol, drink 4 liters or more of bottled water daily (sipping small amounts frequently is best), and take a Diamox tablet if you experience any signs of altitude sickness.

- Early breakfast
- Trek to Horombo Camp (3720m)
- Lunch at the camp and a 2-hour rest
- Set off towards Kibo Camp
- Descend to Horombo Camp
- Dinner and overnight stay at the camp
On arrival at the camp today, you’ll get your first glimpse of both Kibo and Mawenzi volcanoes.

- Early wake-up, breakfast
- Hike to Kibo Camp (4700m)
- Lunch and rest
- Dinner and rest
After lunch, we recommend getting as much sleep as possible, avoiding physical exertion, and drinking plenty of water.

- Nighttime departure and ascent to Uhuru Peak (5895m)
- Return to Kibo Camp
- Lunch
- Two-hour rest
- Descend to Horombo Camp
- Rest
Throughout the ascent, each pair of participants will have their own dedicated guide, who will monitor your physical and mental well-being (if you wish, after reaching Uhuru Peak, you can also descend to the nearest glacier).
