Kenya
a must-do safari

If it’s your first time in Kenya, or even your first taste of Africa, this is the safari for you. It hits all the must-see spots. The Masai Mara will blow your mind with its sheer abundance of wildlife, especially the big cats and their captivating behavior. The Maasai people will give you a real, raw glimpse into their traditional life and culture. The Rift Valley lakes will mesmerize you with their towering yellow acacias, the hippos you’ll float past on boat rides, and the fish eagles snatching prey right out of the water. And, of course, there’s Kilimanjaro, in all its majestic glory, shaking off its morning cloud veil to reveal its full splendor. For your comfort, the program starts in Nairobi and ends on the coast, where you’ll want to unwind on the pristine white sands of the Indian Ocean.

Your itinerary should be a carefully curated collection of experiences and destinations tailored to your desires. The following program is merely a sample of what we can arrange.

You’re just a step away.

Day 1 – Lake Naivasha

  • Airport or Nairobi hotel pickup
  • Transfer to Lake Naivasha (approx. 2 hours)
  • Lodge check-in and lunch
  • Leisure time at the lodge, where giraffes and other ungulates roam on the grounds
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Hippo Point

Lake Naivasha is the largest of the Rift Valley lakes. Hippos relax right by the shore, hundreds of pelicans bob on the waves, and zebras and giraffes can be seen right on the road, outside the park boundaries.

Day 2 – Masai Mara

  • Lodge breakfast
  • Optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha
  • Charter flight to Masai Mara
  • Safari transfer to the lodge
  • Lodge check-in and lunch
  • Evening game drive in the park
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Bushtops Camp

Day 3 – Masai Mara

  • Lodge breakfast
  • Full-day game drive in Masai Mara with lunch by the Mara River, or morning and evening game drives with returning to the lodge
  • Optional excursions are available
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Bushtops Camp

Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most famous and wildlife-rich protected area, extending to the Tanzanian border. The reserve is renowned for its big cats, but besides these herds of antelope and elephants, you’re likely to see the entire “Big Five”.

Day 4 – Amboseli

  • Charter flight to Amboseli
  • Safari transfer to the lodge
  • Lodge check-in and lunch
  • Evening game drive in the park: watch elephants heading towards Kilimanjaro for the night
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Tawi Lodge

Yes, you read that right – Mount Kilimanjaro is in Tanzania, but it’s best viewed from Kenya. Kilimanjaro is the continent’s highest mountain, and while thousands attempt to summit it each year, the easiest and most guaranteed way to see the “roof of Africa” is to visit Kenya’s Amboseli National Park and turn your gaze south.

Day 5 – Amboseli

  • Early lodge breakfast with Kilimanjaro views
  • Morning game drive in Amboseli
  • Lunch at the lodge
  • Evening or night game drive
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Tawi Lodge

Day 6 – Coast

  • Morning game drive in the reserve, ending at the airstrip
  • Charter flight to the coast

Your safari concludes on the East African coast. It’s famous for sandy beaches, rich underwater life, and the warm, welcoming locals. It’s summer year-round here, which means a warm ocean, fresh fruit, and an abundance of seafood.
