Our VIP jeeps are only used within the game reserves. These are open-top, doorless and windowless 4x4s, featuring three tiers of stadium-style seating for optimal viewing. You’ll find thoughtful touches like a dedicated phone pocket, sunscreen, binoculars, field guides for identifying local wildlife, a signature water flask, and even a secure spot for your gin and tonic glass. For added comfort and convenience, the campfire equips with a wine cooler, a special compartment for tables and chairs, as well as a mobile kitchen and bar setup for those unforgettable bush breakfasts, mid-drive snacks, or sundowner cocktails each vehicle. To shield you from the intense sun, there’s a high and sturdy canvas canopy with a rigid frame.

For photographers, there are specialized jeeps available. Configurations vary, but they typically feature fewer seats to allow for ease of movement, swivel chairs for capturing shots in any direction, beanbag supports for stabilizing equipment, and sometimes external camera mounts and even outside seats for the photographer or ranger. Often, these jeeps will have no doors, or even an entire side completely removed, enabling the photographer to lie down and “shoot” from what’s effectively a hide, right at the animal’s eye level.

The latest trend in the industry is the introduction of electric-powered jeeps, which will allow for even quieter travel across the savanna, minimizing disturbance to wildlife for a truly immersive experience in nature.
