- Ascent and descent via multiple routes
All climatic
zones of Kilimanjaro
Alongside the Marangu route, Machame stands out as one of Kilimanjaro’s most popular trekking options. It kicks off in the rainforest on the volcano’s southern slopes and, weaving through all of Kilimanjaro’s distinct climate zones, merges with the Lemosho and Umbwe routes at Barranco Camp, perched at 3,800 meters. Trekkers can choose between six- and seven-day Machame itineraries. The shorter, six-day option is only recommended for those who are in top physical shape, have prior climbing experience, and have already acclimatized to high altitudes. The seven-day program, with its extra day and shorter treks, is a better fit for most travelers. It boosts your chances of reaching the summit.

Kilimanjaro offers a range of ascent options. Regardless of your chosen route, we are committed to providing unwavering support throughout your journey, ensuring your successful reach of the peak.
