Where the
wildebeest are born
Got that wanderlust bug? Yearning for a nomadic life in pristine wilderness, yet craving all the comforts of home? Welcome to the Roving Bushtops.
In this secluded camp, nestled within the vast expanse of the Serengeti National Park, you’ll discover something no fancy hotel can offer: an ever-changing panorama of landscapes and experiences. This mobile camp moves with the wildlife, shifting locations across the savanna several times a year.
You’ll witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra practically at arm’s length, observe lions and cheetahs on the hunt, and marvel at majestic elephants. If you visit between January and March, you’ll be privy to a truly unique spectacle—the birthing of wildebeest calves. And with a dedicated vehicle assigned to each tent, you’re in the driver’s seat when it comes to your safari itinerary.
Your tent features three open sides, allowing you to dine, listen to music, sip chilled drinks on the expansive terrace, soak in the jacuzzi, or lounge on the king-size bed while absorbing the breathtaking views. A personal butler, your very own “fairy godparent,” is on hand to fulfill your every desire: bespoke menus, massages, photo sessions, al fresco dining or breakfast. Your butler is at your beck and call, 24/7.
The cuisine here isn’t just good; it’s exquisite and innovative. Both the food and drinks would grace a royal banquet. The combination of a stellar menu, minimalist-country-chic décor, premium comfort, and the sheer luxury of secluded wilderness leaves an indelible mark on even the most discerning epicurean.

Roving Bushtops is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. You’ll long remember dining in the small, rocky Klipspringer amphitheater. By day, it’s a haven for antelopes; by night, it’s transformed into a magical setting with a roaring fire and a lavish table.
From the summit of Lion Rock, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the Serengeti’s heart—the Seronera Valley, the Roving Bushtops’ main base. The kings of the jungle often survey their domain from here. However, there are evenings when the lions generously relinquish the rock to humans, offering a chance to witness the vibrant hues of an African sunset and the slumbering valley, as beautiful, majestic, and silent as it was millions of years ago, at the dawn of humankind.

A sense of extraterrestrial civilization
Five times a year – the number of stages of the Great Migration – the camp moves from place to place, so there’s plenty to see whenever you come here. The simple canvas tents are decorated with true oriental luxury: fluffy carpets, fine chandeliers, soft sofas, tables set with silver and crystal, huge beds. The cuisine and beverages are beyond praise, and a caring personal butler will make sure that everything from the morning tea to the ashtray on the table is done and placed just the way you like it.
Perched atop a commanding rise, the lodge offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding terrain. Elephants at the watering hole, predators on the hunt, grazing antelope – all of this unfolds before your eyes, whether you’re relaxing in your room, unwinding at the bar, or soaking up the sun by the pool. The rooms have spotlights, and we’ve hooked up a television to a camera that focuses on the watering hole, letting you experience the savanna’s drama from your suite. Here, they cater to every guest’s individual tastes and desires.

Each room is a private luxury tented tent on stilts. For you a huge four-poster bed, a whirlpool bathtub and a personal butler. The cuisine is worthy of the best chefs in Europe. All meals can be served either in the main restaurant or on your own veranda or in the garden. Spa treatments are performed using the finest natural oils – baobab or South African fynbos. Kemp welcomes all year round, but the best time to visit and watch the Great Migration is from August to October.

Want to experience a nomadic life in an untouched natural setting, yet with all the familiar comforts? Welcome to Roving Bushtops.
In this small camp, nestled in the vast expanse of the Serengeti National Park, you’ll find something that no luxury hotel can offer. An hourly change of scenery and experiences. This easily movable camp relocates across the savannah following the animals several times a year. Each tent has its own dedicated vehicle, allowing you to decide when and in which direction you want to go on a safari.

At Olakira Migration Camp, the African sky is your roof. The thin but sturdy netting of the tent allows you to gaze at it as long as you like. And when astronomical observations get boring, you can spend time around the campfire with delicious food and pleasant conversation. Days in the camp are even more interesting. From June to November you can see the most dramatic episode of the Great Migration – the crossing of gnu and zebras across several deep lakes.

On one of the slopes of the Rift Valley lurks Mwiba Lodge, a private reserve of approximately 50,000 hectares. The nature here is unspoiled and majestic. The ten suites leave you feeling spacious, airy and cozy. Large, bright rooms finished in wood, genuine leather and cashmere, huge baths and outdoor showers. Add to that superb cuisine and a private car with a guide driver, spa and gym, helicopter tours and night safaris (except day safaris), and powerful Wi-Fi.

The camp consists of ten cottages in “African vintage” style: palm leaf roofs, whitewashed walls made of local stone, wooden floors. Restrained, but cozily furnished rooms, open veranda with a fireplace and comfortable armchairs, from which you can enjoy a delightful view. Rest can be combined with health benefits: unique spa procedures with a complex of natural local ingredients are at your disposal. Special entertainment for children will not be boring.

On the bank of a small river tributary stand ten spacious tents, whose interior combines the simplicity and brightness of country with royal chic. For nature lovers, this is an earthly paradise. The river is home to many crocodiles and hippos. Local hippos are recognized as the largest in the world and you can watch them right from your room. The restaurant deserves special attention. All food is cooked in stone jiko roasters or on fires. Butler service and babysitting for children are available.
