The camp is nestled on the slope of Olmoti Volcano in the mountain forest, close to the Ngorongoro Crater. There are eight dome-shaped bungalows. Each room has panoramic glazing, through which you can observe the landscape of the Serengeti National Park, special windows-illuminators, so that the beauty of the starry African sky to hide from you. While staying at the campsite, you can walk along the ancient Maasai trail to the top of Olmoti volcano or to the Empakai crater, famous for its alkaline lake and countless flamingos.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is nestled on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater and combines simple ethnicity with baroque chic. And there are roses of all shades and sizes! The crater is literally full of animals and birds. Especially a lot of pink flamingos. Lemala Ngorongoro Camp is very conveniently located east of the crater, in the thicket of an old acacia forest. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to the bottom of the crater and you will be there sooner than guests at other camps. The interior of the spacious tents is rustic in style. The tent dining area is reminiscent of the best restaurants in the Wild West. Apart from the stunning safari, highland walks, you can enjoy a sumptuous picnic lunch at the bottom of the crater. A children’s entertainment program enthralls young guests.
