This hotel has deservedly become a legend among fans of the Black Continent. The Legendary Lodge is encircled by five wonders of African nature – the Tarangire River, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Mounts Kilimanjaro and Meru.
Twelve cottages – ten standard suites and two family mini-villas – are nestled within an expansive garden. Shady paths, cozy glades, and uniquely shaped pools offer hours of exploration. In the garden, you might even spot grazing dik-diks, the world’s smallest antelopes. The cottage interiors maintain a traditional colonial style with touches of local decor. From the inviting veranda, you’ll have a simply magical view of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak after Kilimanjaro.
The Legendary Lodge boasts an exceptional chef. The menu is a delightful fusion of European and local cuisines. Meals can be served in the garden or on your veranda, according to your preference.
